It is that time of the year again: yard sale season! I love going to yard sales. Now that the weather is getting better, yard sales are popping up everywhere. I am lazy to get out of the house on Saturday morning but I find lots of sales on Friday after I drop Gabriel in the school. There are many yard sales on my way home. This morning, I bought several quilt magazines and I rescued a few blocks. It is a traditional design and the colors are nice. Not bad for the first yard sale of the year.
It has been raining the last couple days, but I managed to mow and fertilize the front lawn this morning. We are having guests from Florida and at least the lawn should be neat.
And today is Carmen's birthday! She is having a big party with lots of good food. I wish I was there...

Que quadrado tao perfeito, especialmente no centro, que e a parte mais dificil! Eu tambem gosto de yard sales mas agora estou curiosa sobre os "flea market". Ja descobri um aqui perto.
I go on next saturday to a fabric market and I hope I find there some nice fabrics!
