When it is cold outside...

I stay inside.

Martha Stewart had a pattern for a cute felts slippers. Here is my attempt. It turned out too small and I am not motivated to fix it and make one more.

My 'nursery' corner. At least I have some gardening going on. I was surprised to see a few roots on the butterfly bush cuttings. The conifers, holly, yew, ligustrum and lavender are looking good and I don't expect to see roots for a while. Every 2 or 3 days I open the plastic bags and spray the cuttings with water. Those with roots I water with a fertilizer solution. Soon they will be ready to go outside. I can't wait!

you crack me up with the sleeper. That one is cute, too bad it's too small. Maybe you can find other use for it.
And your nursery looks amazing, you and your green thumb, just great! Can't wait to see those plants in the garden!

Going through the blogs of gardeners in temperate climates, I feel I'm a lazy goose. What a huge job you guys got to do every year! Hope to see your cuttings rooted and soon into their place.

Your slipper is very cute! You should make one more and give them to your friend as a Christmas present. She’ll love them!

Hi Gisele, I'm agree with everybody about your gardening talents but also for the sleeper...preciosa!, even if it not the size you expected, maybe you can hung it as a Christmas ornament.
Felices fiestas para ti y familia:)

Hi Gisele, your slipper is great, it could be a fairy or elf slipper! Fill it with candycanes! Your nursery corner looks so cheering and spring like, hooray!
